Leadership
MEET OUR CEO, TOM.
Tom Ferencevic is an environmental scientist and CEO of Fitec. He first learned about the science of biogas 20 years ago while working as an agronomist. Knowing well the challenges faced by producers, he was determined to bring the benefits of biogas to farmers, to help them and to help our planet. He began immediately to seek out knowledge and experience in as many aspects as possible in the biogas industry.
From waste audits to construction, commissioning, operations and plant design and engineering, Tom has become one of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the biogas industry in North America.
Through Fitec, Tom is able to offer systems that are durable, dependable and energy-efficient. He prides himself on building and designing systems that are customized to his clients’ needs and resources and that operate successfully as-designed.
