A TESTIMONIAL ON THE FITEC DIFFERENCE

“Over the last three years, we have been fortunate to witness the rapid growth of RNG in the Ag sector. While this was exciting for the future of manure management for our clients, we did start to notice design flaws in manure handling that impacted overall operations. Operating in an industry with a 0% allowance for downtime, these flaws raised significant concerns within our organization.

Fitec Biogas was the only technology company that checked off all the boxes.

“Upon further research into AD technology, we found that some had impressive features but lacked the 24/7 upkeep necessary for dairy operations to ensure the backend of the operation worked as designed.

“An SDR steel tank with a 120’ diameter, requiring interior mixing to achieve a properly homogenized environment, would need submerged mixers that are floor and post mounted. This setup adds a weak point for serviceability. The hybrid concrete tank, buried with a membrane roof for gas storage and exterior platforms for mixer placement, was a great alternative to the SDR steel tank. However, even with a design for simple cleanout, this would still require downtime for cleaning and result in a costly confined space to complete that work.

“Fitec Biogas was the only technology company that checked off all the boxes: great thermal mass, serviceability to all components, and 0% downtime, as this system cleans both the floor and upper levels with its self-cleaning design while the fermenting process is underway. This technology stands out from all other companies. Fitec has a proven track record of over 20 years in service. Hands down, this design is suitable for sand bedded operations as well as co-feedstock projects, with the ability to handle up to 25% solids, making this application the right fit for any project.”
